Enjoying motherhood with a little style and beauty in each day

Today I am thankful for music, all sorts, the fast and dancing kind, the lovey dovey kind and especially the touch your spirit type that I use when I need a little me time. Music makes everything better, weddings, movies, and car rides. Music also reminds me of the past and sometimes takes me way back in the day. I think it would be cute to use these on a kids table! {Rice Krispy Turkeys. Have the kids assemble while the Turkey is cooking!} use mini m&ms,candy corn, marsh mellows, froot loops, mike and ikes or any other gummys
I am enjoying my life as a
Mother and Wife. I have a degree in Interior Design, and love planning Weddings,Parties and experimenting in my Kitchen. I am trying to figure out how to be a wonderful homemaker and also pursue my dreams. Either way, I enjoy being inspired, and keeping current.
I invite you to follow my journey, as I experience motherhood for the first time and find beauty in what the world has to offer.
With the New year I have decided to find more things beautiful, be inspired by great design, and experiment with more recipes, products, restaraunts and gadgets. Each week I will post a "Room that Inspires". I look forward to a New Year with all of you!
Its time for fall!
Fall is my favorite time of year. I would love to hear what your family does in the fall! I like to make soups and freeze them. There is nothing better than a good reason to stay inside with a great book, or dinner with friends, a good game and some comfort food. Its this time of year that I really miss Virginia. The pumpkin stands at every corner, crisp cold breezes, a little fog, lunch at Panera Bread, maybe someday we will find ourselves back there....

Cute idea. I bet my kids would love to make these today!
That's a great idea. I think Dane would love to build some eatable decor. The fruit loops are my favorite.
I love the turkeys. I made pilgrim hats out of marshmallows and cookies and chocolate. They were yummy!!
