Where have you been? And other good news...

So I am sure you may have noticed that I have been M.I.A.? Well I have been busy you see, sickly too, and tired... Oh and very nauseated. I hate the smell of my Refrigerator and have been known to leave the room when someone opens it. And my husband smells funny to me too! You guessed it, we are expecting Baby #2 sometime in May.

Our life has been turned upside down,I have been eating grape nuts and pellet ice,and I have resigned from cooking...ever again, {hopefully I will change my mind in a few weeks..}I have been barely functioning normally that is. But maybe that means its a girl? Because I did not go through this the first time.

Today is my silver lining, I feel pretty good and have started cleaning up the neglect from the past month. I have the blinds open, and there is snow, and somehow snow always puts a smile on my face. Even if it is October.

My computer is broken and it needs to go into the shop. So I am using my husbands computer that seems like it was made in 1990... But it works...

And I am so very excited, because babies are the best, don't you think, and I have really wanted one for quite sometime. But things like this happen when they are supposed to I suppose. And we couldn't be happier. I tell myself this every time I have to run to the bathroom, to well you know....

I have my first appointment next week, I should have a due date after!

Wheeler Farm

Last week, with the last few warm days of summer, my friend and I decided to take the kids to Wheeler Farm.

Ryan and his two curly haired friends Lilly and Taegan.
We went to the duck pond first, and there were so many ducks and geese.

They went exploring

And tried to catch the goose...
Ryan Really wanted to see a pig and a hog, are they the same thing?

Ryan {the most difficult to photograph}

Taegan

Lilly

Nash

We went on a tractor ride
And fed the horses
They loved this part best!
{so wheeler farm, not much to it in my opinion, but the duck pond and horses make it worth the trip}

Finding the inner cowboy

We went to a Cowgirl and Cowboy party, there was a pony, and Ryan was so excited.
First he had to dress up in his best cowboy attire.
Then he switched to a safety helmet...
He was a natural! {boots and all he walked with a swagger}

After his ride he had to pet the horse and tell him thank you.
Becuase being polite is really important!

Amelia's Baby Brunch

My Neighbor and Friend Amelia will be having a baby boy early in October. We needed to celebrate properly, so we settled on a casual brunch with some neighbors and friends. It turned out quite lovely.

On the menu, Ham and Swiss Quiche with Chives, Sour Cream Coffee Cake with Cinnamon Crumble and Maple Glaze, Fresh Fruit, Juice and Water.

I went with the color yellow because it is so bright and happy and I heart yellow poms! The flowers were simple Poms and Berries in some vintage milk glass vases.

We had the perfect amount of guests and visited and opened gifts. I cant wait to meet the little one soon!
{i didnt get the best group shots but I couldn t leave the post without at least one of the baby bump}

I think I have a ladies man..

He plays with mostly girls, it can be a love hate relationsip, but every day he askes to play with them, not the boys down the street{and there are only 2} OUR NEIGHBORHOOD IS CHALK FULL OF CUTE LITTLE GIRLS~

He is so sweet and will hold their hands and help them down
steps, I am trying to raise a gentleman after all...

He gives them rides in his car, and they line up on the streets. Because he is COOL RIDER!

It really is so sweet!

The First Day of School

Ryan was very excited for his first day of Preschool. I think he liked wearing his backpack most!

His cute friend Lily is in his class.

He looks so big to me!
They were so excited when they got to the classroom and there was a play kitchen, I snuck out the door and he didn't even look up... I am glad he isn't shy...The other day when I left the class he opened the door and Yelled " Bye MOOOOM BYYYEEEE!" And he went back inside the class room and shut the door... I am so glad he likes it! And if I am really honest, I guess I like it too!
