Brights,Stripes and Florals

Aren't these pictures from pottery barn fabulous? I want to re-do the guest room in these cheery colors! Wouldn't you love to stay in a room like this?

If I had a daughter-I would love to go crazy with this palate!

Resolutions

1. Be a better mom(keep a regular schedule,naps, hands on activities)
2. Go on a date at least twice a month!
3. Run a Half Marathon
4. Make my business flourish(Savvy Nanny)
5. Take on a few design jobs to keep in the loop!
6. Spend quality time with friends, every second Tuesday of the month is girls night out!
7. Fit into some designer jeans a few pairs would be so nice!
8. Plan my wardrobe-try to look more put together!
9. Go to the beach with Jamie and Ryan relax and enjoy!
10. Host a dinner party every other month
11. Read good books
12. Organise all closets and the much needed (office)
13. Cook healthier meals
14. Focus on two rooms and work on a better design concept
15. Laugh more, Relax more, Play more!

Any ideas on good resolutions?

My whole family took my brother to the MTC today. It was bittersweet, saying goodbye to our Brother. He should have a great two years. In honor of him these are a few things I will remember about my brother:

1. He loves to tease Jeremy(the youngest sibling now 15)

2. He loves lacrosse, and seemed to never sit still

3. He has a quiet way about him, and stays under the radar, he got away with everything!

4. When he was young, he was always up a tree (literally) or doing flips off our sofa...

5. He can snowboard really well.

6. He has never said an unkind word to me ever!

7.He likes business, I attended a few events with him this year, he seems motivated to work hard.

8. He looked so great in his suit today, and he was so calm.

I can't wait to see how much he will have changed in two years. We Love you Zak!

Mopping in style...

Ryan has a fascination with the broom and the mop, it wouldn't be a day with out him carrying the mop around the kitchen. Sometimes he even tries to mop things on the counter, which occasionally can cause a huge mess. Yesterday he was particularly funny as he mopped (see picture below) I think I may be able to use these later in life as blackmail ! I hope these are not too revealing!

I love the upholstered headboards at Restoration Harware. I think I could design a room around one of these. They look so sheek! And so many textile choices!

Happy New Year!

A new year always bring New Years Resolutions! I have quite a few this year! Coming Soon, my list of resolutions! Some parts of the world have already rang in the New Year! I am looking forward to a great 2008!

I plan on staying home and enjoying an evening in with Jamie, maybe some Sparkling Beverage and California Pizzas?After an activity packed week. I am ready for some down time!
